Insurance
At Stamford Podiatry Group, PC, we are aware of the increasing burden that healthcare expenditures present to the average individual. Therefore, we strive to maximize reimbursement from your insurance carrier and minimize any out of pocket expenses. Whether our doctors participate in your insurance plan on an "in-network" or "out of network" basis, we do everything possible to minimize both your expense and interaction with your insurance carrier. Our billing department will aggressively pursue your claim, submitting all required paperwork to your insurance carrier for you to ensure that you receive the maximal reimbursement allowed by your insurance company for your visit. Patients with no insurance are also welcome on a self pay basis. To this end, we offer a reasonable and customary fee schedule.

For routine consultations and follow-up visits, we request that payments, including required co-payments, be made at the time of service. For more costly diagnostic or therapeutic procedures and if you are seeing our doctors on an out- of- network basis, we will first submit your claim and await reimbursement from your insurance carrier. As a courtesy, our practice will work directly with your insurance company in an effort to minimize balance billing. Our options for payment include cash, personal checks and all maj or credit cards.

We would like your experience with us to be as therapeutic and stress-free as possible. Please do not hesitate to contact our billing manager if you should have any questions regarding our billing policy.
