Dr. Francisco Lago graduated from Pace University in NYC with a Bachelor of Sciences in Biology. Afterwards he attended New York College of Podiatric Medicine where he graduated top of his class with a degree in Doctor of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Lago did a three year foot and ankle surgical residency at Saint Vincent Catholic Medical Centers in New York. He served as Chief Resident his last year. Currently he is a member of the medical staff at Stamford Hospital, St. John's Hospital & Mary Immaculate Hospital.
Dr. Lago is a teaching faculty member of the Saint Vincent Catholic Medical Centers (Brooklyn/Queens Division) Podiatric Residency Program. He achieved his board qualification status with the American Board of Podiatric Surgery in 2002.
Dr. Lago speaks fluent Spanish & Portuguese. He is an active member of the Queens County Podiatric Society, New York State Podiatric Medical Association, American Podiatric Medical Association, and an Associate of the American College of Foot & ankle Surgeons. |
